H&S Protection Systems offers high-quality security monitoring services. Our monitoring center is Underwriter Laboratory-Listed (UL-Listed). That means our services are independently reviewed and certified by a nationally recognized certification organization.
Monitoring enhances the protection offered by an alarm system because operators are ready to respond to emergencies 24-7, 365-days-a-year, in the building. While the most common alarm signals may be for burglary, hold-up and fire, other environmental and personal needs can also be monitored, such as temperature levels, mechanical failures, and air quality.
A monitored alarm system sends a signal over the phone line to the central station that serves as the link between the responsible authorities. Trained operators respond to any emergency signals by alerting necessary personnel. The standard response to alarm signals is:
- Call the site to verify the alarm (the alarm can only be canceled by someone with a valid Central Station Passcode).
- Call a second distinct number to verify the alarm.
- Dispatch the proper authorities, if necessary.
- Notify the first available person from the call list.
Alarm verification calls are strongly encouraged to minimize unnecessary dispatches, but procedures can always be customized to fit customers’ individual needs.
Passcard and call-list changes can be made directly through the Response Center or H&S. Just send the instructions by mail, fax or email. Email Cindy in our Stevens Point office at firstname.lastname@example.org or Lonnie in our Pewaukee office at email@example.com.
